Delete Your Account
Setliner's own library and charts never leave your devices, so there is no library "account" to delete — this page is only about the Setliner account used for trials, purchased entitlements and Teams.
How to request deletion
Email support@setliner.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We verify the request from that address (or by other reasonable means if you no longer have access to it), and confirm once it's done.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account erases its verification state and its device activations, and ends your current Team memberships. This cannot be undone.
What we keep, and why
- A licence-restoration record — your email address, the entitlements attached to it, and the purchase transaction identifier — so a purchase can be restored if you verify that address again later. Deleting your account does not revoke anything you bought. You can ask us to erase this record too; if you do, we'll confirm that means the licence can never be restored, and erase it once you confirm.
- Team history a team keeps about you (past assignments, and the record of notices already sent) stays with that team for as long as it exists, with your name and email replaced by a placeholder on request — the same way it works for any member who leaves. This is the team owner's data, not yours to delete on request, and is deleted when the team itself is deleted.
- Transaction records (what was bought, when, for how much, under which email) are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires — typically seven years — regardless of account deletion.
Active subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it through Polar's customer portal or your app store first, or it will keep billing.
Deleting only some of your data
You don't have to delete your whole account to exercise a data-deletion right — email support@setliner.com and tell us what you'd like removed (for example, a specific support conversation). We'll tell you what we can delete immediately and what we're required to retain, and why.
See Section 9 (Retention) of the Privacy Policy ↗ for the complete retention schedule.
